Southern Railway set to have longest loop line between Aduthurai and Sundaraperumal Kovil

The ₹289.17-crore project of creating a 21.5-km additional track between Aduthurai and Sundaraperumal Kovil is expected to help cater to the rush during Mahamaham festival in Kumbakonam in 2028
