नवरात्र के छठे दिन मां कात्यायनी की पूजा का विधान बताया गया है. मां कात्यायनी की चार भुजाएं हैं. उनके हाथों में अस्त्र-शस्त्र और कमल सुशोभित हैं और जबकि उनका वाहन सिंह है. उन्हें ब्रजमंडल की अधिष्ठात्री देवी माना गया है.
